Northwest Missouri State University Police released information yesterday afternoon on a report of a sexual assault which occurred Friday evening between 9 and 10 o'clock at the Forest Village Apartments.
According to an email from University Police, the incident was reported by the survivor yesterday morning. The survivor met the suspect on social media and the suspect has been identified and is not a student.
The email indicates the survivor does not wish to pursue criminal charges at this time.
